B) MAKE YOUR INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE PROCESS EASIER: Solstice® N71 is suitable for a wide range of system architectures that perfectly match the design of MV direct expansion systems, keeping the system safe, functional, and energy efficient. Handling, storage, and transport are identical to those of any non-infiammable low-pressure refrigerant: experience or technical skills already used in conventional refrigeration are required. Therefore, you have more choice about the technicians to whom you entrust the installation, maintenance, and service.
C) REDUCES TOTAL OWNERSHIP COST (TCO): Thanks to the efficiency of Solstice® N71, you can cut energy costs and achieve lower total CO2 emissions (TEWI, sum of direct + indirect emissions) in the environment than both old and new generation systems (e.g., R744). By using conventional refrigeration equipment and practices, you avoid paying a surcharge for installation and routine and extraordinary maintenance. It also reduces the risk and unforeseen expenses associated with critical failures that can occur, for example, in high-pressure CO2 refrigeration systems.
D) MEETS SUSTAINABILITY OBJECTIVES: Solstice® N71 is a low-pressure refrigerant and has a GWP <150, this allows for reduced gas leakage and definite emissions in "Scope 1." It also complies with international standards. In addition, because it is more energy efficient than CO2, it helps reduce overall carbon emissions and conserve natural resources.
